OM China's Vision

China has emerged from 40 years of repression and is now a living, vibrant, united country which has become a major industrial powerhouse of the world. Under God’s good hand there are now over 100 million people who follow Christ in this land and many are keen to bring the Gospel to where it has never been preached.

A Chinese leader recently said ‘If you want me to walk the path you must open a road for me’. We believe that OM in China has the task of opening that road. We want to equip, train and facilitate the Church to fulfil the task of the Great Commission by providing them with a ‘road’ to mission. The 7 key areas of focus for OM China are: Mobilisation, Mentoring, Minorities, Marriage, Mercy, Market Place and Migrants.

"Some Christian Leaders realise that for almost the last two hundred years we have always received missionaries from abroad who have laid down theirlives for us to preach the Gospel. We want to mobilise Christians in China to go abroad as missionaries. I believe that not only will China be the greatest Christian nation in the world, it is going to be the largest mission sending base in the World."

Doctrinal Statement

  • We Believe the Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments in their original texts, are fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, without error, and are the final authority for the Church.
  • We Believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We Believe in the absolute deity and full humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, the authenticity of His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His present mediatorial work in heaven.
  • We Believe in the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit. We believe He gives life, He sanctifies, He empowers and comforts all believers.
  • We Believe that man was originally created sinless. Tempted by Satan, man fell and thereby brought the whole race under the condemnation of eternal separation from God.
  • We Believe that man is saved through repentance and faith in the finished work of Christ. Justification is through grace alone.
  • We Believe that the Church is the body of Jesus Christ composed of all true believers. The present work of the Church is the worship of God, the perfecting of the saints, and the evangelization of the world.
  • We Believe in the personal and bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ to consummate our salvation and establish His glorious Kingdom.
